Mad Libs Beer Review: Lugene

Normally, I don’t do a lot of beer reviews, but I thought a fun twist on the classic babble on what my smarty-pants beer judge’s nose, tongue and eyeballs could discern in a beer might actually make a beer review worth reading. And so I give you Mad Libs Beer Reviews, an occasional series, in which I write down thoughts on a beer and plug them into the classic, childhood word game.

To start, I’ve selected Odell Brewing Company‘s Lugene Milk Chocolate Stout, a new beer brewed to commemorate the farmer who has been feeding his dairy cows with Odell’s spent grain for over a decade. Amazingly, this ridiculous little story makes sense. Enjoy!

  1. Just been told about your blog J by a mate on the West Coast – love it man. Don’t suppose you’d like to try another one with our legendary Hedgemonkey festival ale would you?

  2. J says:

I’d be happy to. I’ll email you an address for samples. Thanks
