Over three and a half years ago on Jan. 21, 2009, I hinted that I’d be working up a little makeover on an oddly placed half bath at brewvana HQ.
Apparently, I’ve been busy with other important tasks, but in a heroic attempt at follow through, I battled through the final phase this week to bring this project to completion. The hangup was the flooring. I lost steam, turned this half-deconstructed room into a storage facility for coolers and whatnot, but finally I gathered the intestinal fortitude to clear the decks and begin anew.
I did not run shanks through the wall so that we actually have beer on tap as originally planned, but it’s still fairly cool and a respectable “Men’s Room,” and thanks to the Moosehead bottle opener I bought for a souvenir in Canada when I was sixteen, you can open a beer while you brush your teeth.
