With less than a week remaining before Wynkoop Brewing Company’s Beer Drinker of the Year finals on Saturday, they pulled together a “study session” to support their favorite finalist. Me.
In addition to amazing opening statements and convincing closing arguments, not to mention the ability to answer painfully difficult beer questions, the three contestants must endure the Beer Listening portion of the “final exam,” which entails identifying two beers blind (bonus points if you can name the brewery, I suppose). To assist, my two beery comrades pulled together a blind tasting so I could “train” for Saturday’s shenanigans, and I’m pleased to say that I did pretty well.
